About us

Primo Getto is a young ensemble bringing exceptional early music to its audiences.  With a deep passion for 17th century music, and their unique setting of two voices and continuo, their programs are both intimate and audacious.

Finalists at the Première competition of the FestiVità early music festival in 2026 and featured in this year’s IYAP edition as a promising young ensemble (Laus Polyphoniae, AMUZ), they are quickly convincing their audiences of their personal and emotionally rooted approach to the music they perform.

In concerts given across Europe, they have been presenting Until Peace Comes, a program advocating for peace, featuring German music from the Thirty Years’ War. They are premiering Mazzocchi: A Portrait, a monographic program around Domenico Mazzocchi, at the start of this new season.
